Crooked Creek Animal Hospital is located in Centralia, IL, the home of 300 acre Foundation Park. We are an OSHA certified small animal hospital where our veterinarians and pet health professionals truly care about animals. Everyone on staff at our animal hospital is committed to promoting great health and wellness to give every pet an amazing life.

Since 1992, we have stayed true to our mission of providing quality medicine in a small-town environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian, motivated to care for our loyal clients and their pets. Alongside them we have our 3 full time technicians and amazing support staff! Our facility is comprised of three exam rooms, a surgical suite, in-house lab, digital radiology, ISO room, Zoetis Imagist machine, and full digital files.

Requirements

Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of Illinois.

Crooked Creek Animal Hospital is a three doctor, small animal only practice looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our crew of passionate professionals. We offer full wellness services, surgical and dental procedures, and in house lab work, pharmacy, and x-ray. Job Type: Full-time.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week based on doctor’s schedule.

Requirements:
  • CVT or equivalent required.
  • Previous veterinary experience, large or small animal (1 year, required).
  • Must be comfortable working with technology (i.e., computers, smart phones, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for periods of 8 hours or more at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a high paced environment and work well with others.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize hospital needs.
  • Willingness to learn and accept training.
  • Must have a passion for not only helping animals but also for helping people.
